I live in Portland, Oregon with my husband of 35 years. I am zealous about writing and literature and enjoy the process of researching historical events and interests where my overactive imagination leads me. I have been rearranging syntax since age 16 when my first poem published. If I'm not writing fiction or poetry, I'm working or can be found doing a variety of activities from distance running to skydiving. My all time favorite things in life are scuba diving while pretending I'm flying in other worlds, or simply enjoying a nice glass of wine with family and friends.
I also have a passion for healthy gourmet cooking with a love of strong coffee and super hot foods. I enter spicy food contests whenever I have a chance.

It allows her to fly just by wishing it. She meets Saidi, a friend from the past—but from where does she know her? Together they embark on a magical journey and the reader is taken deeper into the kingdom, and into the lives of Saidi, Cat, Doc Nemo, Shenser, and the rest of the cast. We also get a closer look at the King and his inner workings. The more we know, the darker it looks. At one point the immortal Infinītes, an enslaved people, are tested for consumption. Yes! it is thought that their meat may provide the proteins of eternal life. The malevolent Queen wants to try out her theory on her son, the Prince, feeding him the disguised meat of Infinītes.
Through it all, Saidi remains a bright light.
Vivid characters—easily distinguishable and thoroughly enjoyable—come to life and leap out of the pages. Each character has a perfectly unique voice. Pam Kesterson captures conflict very well, changing the pitch and pacing in a way that keeps the interest rising; at times we switching between realms—from real to surreal. I've always admired writers who can write so purely in third person. Pam Kesterson does so with poetic elegance.
This is one of the most imaginary novels I've ever read. I think it is destined to become a Teen/Young Adult classic. Readers will find that this timeless story can be read over and over again. It's the kind of book I know many people will love and treasure.

The story begins when Cat, a marine biologist steals a magic locket on a market stall and the locket can guide and allows her to fly just by wishing it. She meets Saidi who is from another world and thinks she knows her. There are those however who are willing to risk their lives to get hold of the magic. Find out what happens in this imaginative and unusual story!
THE THIEF THAT STOLE ETERNITY is the secomd book in the series that is a crossover between young adult and adult. Magic and dragons engulf the reader from the beginning and pull one quickly into the characters not merely as fictional fantasy characters but wonders that face a dark and unpredictble future in a fashion mere mortals wish they could or had the power to do so. Who would not like to be able to fly with merely a thought? Running like a silver thread through the dangers and outer edges of realism there is always love - distant and wanting but still within reach. Like the first novel this is a lage book, but once again written so well I did not get lost in a litany of over redundent words and verbiage written for no other reason than to fill space. Also, there is no way the twists and turns and complications of the story could be told as they are portrayed within the confines of an average sized novel. The story is compelling, well thought out and developed. The novel is a great fantasy world that will fill you with wonder created by a person with an outstanding knack for the written word. Fantasy at its finest - so fine maybe the innner meaning is the truth.
